Hey guys ordering the following on monday or tuesday just want to run it past you guys first.

Intel Core i5-3570K
Asus Z77 Maximus V Gene

Yes.

Only thing i'd even think of changing is the RAM for low profile stuff.. Though if it were me i'd ditch the H60 and get a NH D14 in there. :)

Can not really find any 16gb low profile ram at 1866mhz (ooo just noticed doom a tjo8 user nice how you finding the stock 180mm fan?)
 
I changed the RAM as I couldn't find the one you spec'd and the GPU has a UK RMA which is a bonus. Changed the SSD to the 840 Pro version, read/write speeds are quicker than the basic. Not sure which one you spec'd.

Thanks m8 but the problem with the WF card is it exhausts in the case and as its a small case it needs to exhaust out the back also gpu I put down is 4gb.

Appriciate it guys but spec is pretty much set im just wanting to know if the stuff ive picked is ok basicaly, maybe a couple of change here and there possibly ram ect but not a full change.
 
RAM over 1600Mhz makes little odds fella, 8GB is ample for gaming to be fair. If you want the CLC and the cost of adding fans for push pull fair enough. The SSD I spec'd has a firmware update to boost the speeds, it is a rival of the 840 Pro and works out a little cheaper
 
Your initial build if you drop ram to 1600mhz to save you some moneys, is fine. people will always find small ways to tweak the build to be "slightly" better here and there but in real world scenarios you wont notice the difference.

like you could get either of the below motherboards in exchange to the one you've picked, but if you would get any extra gain from them?

Both boards i believe are better than the one you initially picked for overclocking and gigabytes board has UK RMA ^^
 
The gene is the best Matx board (on the Z77 Chipset) no point in looking at any other alternitive..

I may switch the gpu to the MSI 7970 Lightning BE how would that effect the temps in the case? Also how about this ram Patriot Viper 3 "Venom Red" 8GB DDR3 PC3-14900C10 1866MHz Single Module X2?
