This is going to be a little pc for browsing the web writing the odd disk nothing really major, it will be upgraded with a standalone gfx when I decide to upgrade to a big TFT..
I'm hoping to get all this within £300.

Silverstone SG01B case
Gigabyte GA-G33M-DS2R mobo
2x1Gb CorsairTwinX XMS2, DDR2 PC2-6400 (800)
Intel E2180 CPU
Seagate 160Gb SATA Disk

As I'm going to be running the standard cooler I wont be pushing for somthing silly, if I can make 2.5Ghz with low onload temps I'll be happy, this spec should allow for a little oc'n shouldnt it?

I don't know enough about that motherboard to say anything conclusively but that is a very overclockable CPU and the RAM's pretty good. You have at least 2/3 of the parts. :)
