Seems fine, just keep in mind the mobo might need a bios update to support the wolfdale.

might be worth a look in the mobo forum to see if a threads been started with out of the box workable mobos for the wolfdales.

I recommend swapping the PSU for one from the corsair HX series. (eg the HX520 for single GFX card, or HX620 for SLI / crossfire goodness).

Are you planning on overclocking? If not, (or only a bit) then consider swapping the Ram for some 6400 stuff.

I'd be getting the same CPU soon if OcUK could drop their prices to those of competitors.

Any particular reason for Corsair PSU over BFG? I wont use crossfire as got 8800GT and mobo wont run SLI so only single gfx card for me.

I wont overclock to start with but will try later on. The Crucial price for 8500 ram is like £6 more than 6400 so seems little point in saving that much IMHO.

I saw 8400 cheaper elsewhere but not in stock.

Hmm I do like the modular cabling of the Corsais HX620. Will have to do a bit more reading. Was also thinking the BFG was too good to be true at 880W for £82 all in.
