I will be buying a screen to go with this (was looking at VP930, but its been removed from the website). I have speakers, sound card, mouse and keyboard to go with it. Anything i have forgotten or incompatible? (just realised i forgot Artic silver)

Ok I would change the Enermax for a Seasonic, and the Mboard to an Intel Bad Axe, but those are just personal choices...

Is the bad axe the same as the Intel Extreme D975bx-304 975X (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard - OEM (MB-010-IN) ?

Its not cheap at 150 for an OEM board though.

As for the PSU i dont really know which brands are better than others, so are seasonics usually better for noise/power..etc?

Yup the Intel Extreme....

PSU - Seasonic is one of the best around, best efficency, good as the best at the with power, and THE quietest PSU around

I`m ready to order now, but the problem with the ASUS not recognising the conroe without an update (i have no 775 chips) and the bad axe being OEM are putting me off both of them! I think im going to hold off ordering for today and wait until i know the ASUS board can be flashed without a recognised CPU.

I just need to get all of this added to my original conroe pre-order, why couldnt the MB choice be easy!!
