Spec Check / Price

I want the computer for playing games.. but dont want to spend.. ALIEN WARE prices.. but of course will be better than what ive got.. i can still play any game out there.. apart from that Vanguard game.. real choppy.. and am getting to the stage where im having to put med to low settings on..

Alienware are over-priced, you could build a system that matches for much less. You have quite a lot of options, what is your overal budget for this build?

well i would say £500 i know its not a lot.. but it could build a better system than what ive got at present.

That's not a bad system, but it would struggle in games. With £500 you could get a great c2d. The thing with c2d you can spend little and get a lot cause of the overclocking ability.
