Hey guys, I'm about to upgrade but wanted to run this by you before ordering.

A friends been telling me to buy the Abit IP35 Pro but I'm not convinced it's worth the extra money. Is it worth the extra money performance wise? I don't need any of the extra ports you get with it.

That PSU is overkill, you could easily get by with the 520. HEck, the 450 would probably do just fine.

With the money you saved there you should get a better CPU cooler if you're intending on overclocking. The Scythe Ninja, Tuniq Tower, Thermalright 120, and others are all good coolers.

The WD AAKS-series 500 GB disk is slightly faster than that and cheaper to boot. YOu might consider swapping it.

Also, if you buy the Evga card, remember to register it within 30 days or you don't get the 10yr warranty. Maybe look at getting the BFG one, the warranty is transferable aswell. Not to sure on the transferability of the Evag one.
