Just want to make sure this stuff is going to work together before i click buy

get some different RAM, ballistixs are good when they work, but they are very sensitive to voltages and can have a tendency to die

get a 64 bit OS, unless you know you will have problems with 64 bit.

check carefully if you need vista ultimate, if not get something like home premium and save some cash

what ram would you suggest? the reviews seem to suggest that was decent enough stuff.

I'd suggest dropping the Raptor and getting a WD AAKS series HD, almost as fast and you'll triple the capacity for less money.

whats the difference between the 32 and 64 bit edition other than the limitations on ram?

and i would prefer a raptor as i have ample space available on drives in my current pc which i will be transferring over.
