well i will be planning on making an order in a couple of weeks when windows 7 is out, can you have a look make sure every things about right, i have a corsair 650w modular psu already, only 2 things im unsure about is the HDD where to get then one i listed or a SSD, and the monitor, i got a budget of about £250, have a 24" asus atm and it suffers from ghosting :S :(, only thing that puts me off about the IPS 22" is no full HD,, ill be using the PC for mostly gaming, also whats it like fitting the watercooling kit ? im all up for modding my case

Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5870 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £298.99

Dell UltraSharp 2209WA 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor

Intel Core i5 750 2.66Ghz (Lynnfield) (Socket LGA1156) - OEM + Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising Game

Asus P7P55D Pro Intel P55 (Socket 1156) DDR3 Motherboard

G.Skill Ripjaw 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-16000C9 2000MHz Dual Channel Kit (F3-16000CL9D-4GBRH)

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium - Retail

Corsair H50 High-Performance CPU Watercooler (Socket LGA775/1366)

Thanks

Looks like a good spec, I have that monitor and it is fantastic for games, well worth the money considering the awesome IPS panel it uses.

As for the HDD, I'd suggest not going for the Velociraptor. An SSD would be a good alternative (perhaps something like this, budget permitting), but you will want a standard HDD for storage (something like this maybe).

As for the h50 cooler, I would hold off buying this for a week or so as corsair are about to release their proper s1156 mount for it.

As for the GPU, the 5870 is a great card but the 5850 is £100 less and not that much slower - maybe worth a look. Also I suggest going for an XFX card as the warranty is direct with OCUK.

ok,, ill have a look at SSD i was thing more like £150 tho :D

ill be holding off with the order till win 7 is out so hopefully corsair will have got that sorted then
