Hi,

Looking to build a new computer for general use and occasional gaming.

Just wanted to check that the below spec is all compatible and that i'm getting good best performance for money. I've already got an optical drive and PSU so don't need any of those :)

I've gone for an overclocked bundle as I have no experience doing it myself and lack the time.

Components included in the bundle are:

- CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1055T 95W Edition 2.80GHz @ 3.80GHz
- Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H
- RAM: Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel
- Cooler: Akasa Venom CPU Cooler (Upgrade options available)

Absolute maximum budget is £700

Thanks for any help :)

your right, it does take up two slots, so kiss goodbye to that pci slot underneath.

as for the psu, your lucky its a ati card, that are more power efficient, it should be ok

okok,i wrote this before you and big.wayne started arguing which one between antec 300 and silverstone had good cooling
