Is this good for £450 including OS? Could you build a better on for this price?

3.8GHz AMD FX 6200 Six Core Processor
8GB of DDR3 1333Mhz RAM
500GB Hard Drive Storage Space
nVidia Geforce GT 610 1GB Graphics Card
MSI 760GM-P21 Motherboard & Drivers
Standard 450W PSU
DVD-RW

No it's garbage.

I've already done you specs. Consider an AMD Trinity setup and add a GPU later if your budget is tight. The OS knocks £80 of your budget straightaway, you obviously dont want to use windows 8 developers edition for free

For that budget trinity all the way.

Straight to the point hono. :)

I don't want to sound like an Uberdouche (well more than usual) but he keeps doing these spec me threads.

I've suggested intel would be better and gone through ALL the options (G840/i3/ and AMDs Trinity) and mentioned how to get an OS for free for 3 months with windows 8 DE. I've done specs and people have +1'd them or done slight alterations....to be honest there is nothing left to be said.

Of course the offers change weekly on the wed. and there are daily offers to mix things up but the core spec isn't going to vary that much

No worries mush :)

My best advice would be to look to spend £500 and use windows 8 DE and save for an OS.

For £500 we can spec you something decent for gaming as we can afford a dedicated GPU. DOn't get a prebuild as they will be rubbish. The budget prebuilds usually come with the basic edition of windows which also limits the amount of RAM you can use........not cool.

When you have the cash we can spec you, place the order and we can walk you through the build. There are videos on youtube you can watch to help give you some confidence :D

A case to keep the parts in would be nice lol I think that Z68 mobo supports Ivybridge anyway without the BIOS being updated. It's B grade so it might be missing the sata cables or what have you.

I have that mobo and it does everything I need it to do, without any extra fancy features... Gotta love Blue and white bios :D none of this "mouse" nonsense.

But it can be upgraded if mobo is rev 2.0+ and that will have fancy bios.

What's a 'Mobo' and 'Bios'. Hono, I shall save £500 and use windows 8 for a while but tbh I don't know if I'll have enough for windows 7 in 3 months xD I'll hopefully have a job by then though :)
