Well a cooler comes with the retail intel box right? I'm not planning on over clocking it at the moment so their cooler will be okay for now?

That correct, you be fine with the retail version.

The 7870XT is better than a standard 7870. The power supply is fully modular. The Ram is cheaper. 120GB SSD instead of a 64GB one. Adding the above items works out about £5 more according to my expert maths skills :D
