So my friend wants a gaming build to play most games at high/ultra on 1080p
He has a budget of £1400/£1500 and I have come up with this with a few tweaks of his own.

Do you really need all those fans, the case comes with a front 200mm and a rear 120mm already..

Does it have to be white?..

You sure that motherboard goes with it?
 
The more the better :) Could probably just go with 2x200mm in the top to help with the rad

He prefers the case in white which means that probably no mobo will go with it :)

There is a limit though where airflow can't get any more beniffical and all thats added is noise (maybe not of the fans themselve but the air being forced through the case).

I only have 2 (non-cooler) fans in my rig and airflow is super smooth while keeping temps low.

I would suggest leave the fans for now as they can be easily added later..

How about a black and white theme, there are a lot of black mobo's and GPU's. and RAM too. :)

Also, isn't the Intel 520 faster than the toshiba? and doesn't the Samsung green perform better. Lower timings and highly overclockable?

Okay,

The toshiba is actually faster, look at the max read and writes. :)

Yes the samsung greens are better but you really wouldn't get them much higher than 2133 and they cost the same as the ones i specced, they are better though.

He will be deciding whether to get this PC or the new macbook in Mid July, then get the other one in late September.
I might check back later if he changes his mind on any components.
