Now photoshop is multi-threaded the 3930k is bound to be at the top.
The 4770k is close to the 3930k performance due to most games not using even 4 cores or HT.
The factor here is price.
You can pay £450+ for a CPU and it'll help you more with photoshop.
Or you can pay £270 for a CPU and you'll see very little difference in your gaming performance but won't perform aswell in photoshop.
If you don't photoshop a lot thats not a hjuge issue but if you use it heavily for 6-8 hours a day, the 3930k will be worth it.
If you don't need the 3930k you could put the money saved towards a bigger SSD, going with 2 x 780's or back in your wallet.
I'm always in Photoshop and considering how much the new CC version eats what it can I think it would be wise to go for the 3930. Thanks for all the advice mate, appreciate it
