Spec ckeck

If it's within your budget i'd spend more on the mobo, so you can Overclock the 3570k, unleashing it's fully potential.

A Z77 Motherboard
Gelid Tranquillo Cooler
OCZ 550W PSU.

Should cost an extra £50, all in all.

If you don't want to Overclock, it looks great.

Will you be wanting to overclock. And why not go for the Dual Fan edition of the 6850 which is slightly cheaper?

It'll be for playing games such as minecraft and a few others that aren't too demanding.

Also would it be worth getting that CPU or getting a cheaper one?

Using the developers copy of windows 8 is an option to save money now (to buy even better kit). The OS can be bought later once windows 8 is officially released (with free P&P we hope).

The Z77 mobo not only allows overclocking but the lucid virtu software uses the IGP to boost the dedicated GPU and switch between the two depending on what's required.

Price seemed to be a concern so I have balanced the spec to the original price. More RAM, better heatsink etc etc can be added later as I suggested with the OS. Hope this helps, look forward to seeing what you settle on. A build log would be nice (with pics) and would definately improve your post count :)
