Spec for £1,500 system please for ATI system and Nvidia system

Hi,

I have £1,500 to spend and require everything including a monitor. I would like a 24 inch monitor as a minimum and would like a spec for an Nvidia system and a spec for an ATI system please.

Will be gaming primarily and also watching films and videos and listening to music. A fairly quiet system please and would like a Quad core with a minimum of 4GB ram.

Yeah I know, the lure of the pc is too great though. Trouble is the only mac I really want is the Mac Pro which is a bit too steep in price!!!!!! Then there is the problem of not having any decent gaming cards out for the mac.

I guess my hobby is putting together pc's and trying different parts out (expensive hobby though!!!!)
