Hi all

I am looking to build a new computer for average gaming use and several CAD applications

iv got a budget of £400 for the system excluding the graphics card as i need to work some more before i can get that. I already have windows 7 64bit so that is the OS sorted out.

i'd like to be able to overlcock the system a bit if possible.

Iv conciderd getting some of the Ocuk i3 oc bundles, they seem very good value and would then only require case, HDD + PSU

The case must have space for DX11 cards as i'd preferably like a 512mb+ when i get it, so factering in size.

Any advise and opinions would be greatly apprectiated

thnak you

you could alter it a bit with different ram, but its usually more expensive with Intel.

Actually, you are factoring in a gpu when the peep said it was £400 excluding a graphics card.

I almost did the same myself. But if you stick with your AMD build then its only about £450 if you switch the 4870 for an MSI 460 768mb Cyclone. And that is sure to make MG44 smile.

Cheers,
vfm
