Questions that might be good to ask yourself:
  • What tools will I need?
    • Heat gun?
    • Something to chamfer the tubes?
    • Hacksaw?
    • Something to tighten down a fitting that leaks when hand tight?
    • Anything I haven’t considered?
  • How will I ensure straight cuts?
  • How will I mark where to cut?
  • Where will I do the work? Do I have a heat safe area?
  • What PPE do I have, and what do I need?
  • How will I clear up a bad spill or leak quickly?
  • How will I drain the loop?
Also I’ve missed what rad you’re using, but I assume you have one? For me 360 would be the minimum for GPU & CPU, if you want it quiet and with overclocking headroom.

Sorry if the questions are obvious or stupid. But I often get so excited about a new project that I forget the basics :D

Thanks guys and good questions to bare in mind. I’ve been busy lately and go on holiday shortly so haven’t had a chance to look in to it any further :(. I’ll definitely be making some purchases when I return to get the ball rolling!
