No, I would have nearly anything over a MARK FIVE golf.

I hate them.

And I don't fit in them for that matter either.

After refusing to look at 08 plate cars because they were too old she went to a VW main dealer without me because I told her I wasn't just going to say yes to her ideas to help her justify her poor buying decisions, so off she went on her own, good riddance, thats a hassle off my back.

I didn't have the heart to break it to her that most poverty spec mini's etc have that at this point and its not a big deal. "Yes its got nice leather seats" was what I went with.

Well done for dealing with it this way, probably best for you in the long run. I couldn't bear to see my OH flush money down the toilet though.
