spec me £1K

Cheers for the spec guys, and I won't be needing 12 GB of ram, I think 6GB is enough. I will be gaming at High resolutions 1900x1200 + with everything MAXED out with the games of Crysis, Arma II + DX11 titles whenever they are out. Basically, I would want this system to be fast when encoding and using CPU intensive programs.
 
If you go for 95thrifles system, I'd swap the P55 system for an X58 system, seeing as how you get 2GB extra RAM for about £12 more.

Mine doesn't have an SSD, but you have got crossfired 4890's, a good CPU cooler and an X58 system, which seems to fit your needs most, as you'd get good performance in games, a good overclock, and it'd be great for encoding. You could knock off another £16 by getting the P6T SE, but it doesn't support SLI, if you decided to go for nvidia in the future.

the P55 is only 3.5% slower than X58 for most apps and outperforms in it all gaming environments (think because of the onboard PCI-E controller)
and I noticed we both missed OS :eek:
