S2000 or 350z as it will give you something different to what you have had.

maybe even a boxter s. Although not sure what 8k buys you?

Get an early SL500, they are not super fast but certainly keep up with 350z's and other metal mentioned. You also get a convertible hard top, V8 noise, and luxury thrown in.

Wouldnt bother with a Honda Civic, go for the DC5. If not a Evo always gives you a good fun factor

baahh Impreza,

you want a real car, get a mkiv supra TT, you can get a lovely example for that price :-)

As much as I love the Supra.

The 350Z is more rounded car.

Impreza is just not on the same league imo.

The AYC on an Evo makes it feel like a smaller car through the corners.

It's a bit of a fallacy that they cosset the driver, they have systems designed to get maximum power on the ground, and increase cornering speed, but do not have any kind of stability/traction control system to the best of my knowledge.

I was waiting for a crest for the evo to go over to lose traction. Initially I thought it would be a head on crash after viewing the driving/conditions.
