Spec Me: A ~£100 Everyday Watch Thats a bit Quirky

Anyone know where u can get the Tokyo Flash watches in the UK, or better still, see some, as watches always look completely different in real life.

iirc, cyberdog sells them. I'd check, but my dns is fubar :/

Forgot about Diesel.

This looks mean!

VERY similar to that, infact identical with the only changes are that the numbers are gothic and the studs are rivets type, not slit-screwed. Love it to bits. The numbers write on the screen as if you were writing them with a pen too :)

From your description, sounds like we've both got one of those! I own quite a few 'every day' watches - none of them particularly expensive - and I think this one is by far the best looking. Quirky without being silly.

the tokyoflah negative positive watch thing on the first page is quite cool. looks weird at first glance, then you look again and realise you can read the time :p

Weirdly I cant decide if the black looks better than silver - wish you could see them in RL

The rogue watch you can still read with or without the light on.
Granted some of the other watches require a button push but who cares is pressing a button really that hard to do ?

A pretty poor first hand account of the Rogue from a Gizmodo commentator:
I got mine a few days ago. Thought mine was defective too, but indeed there are supposed to be three LEDs, making the lighting look uneven, and in my opinion, cheap.

It's nice that you can see it without the LEDs in daylight. If it's dark, you hit the button. Disappointingly, that same button also lets you know what time the alarm is set to, so every time I want to see what time it is, I've got to hit a second button to take it back from Alarm to Current time.

Totally lame. Really disappointing. Sending it back.

dammit beat me to it.

They have great watches. I own a rogue very very nice watch.

Just a word of warning though you will most likely be hit by customs tho :(
I've pondered getting a rogue, have you and pictures of it, website photoshoots seem quite misleading. How much did customs sting you for? And can you confirm what the gizmodo review said about the light button being the same as the alarm time button?

Having a binary watch showing the time in an array of lights = WIN

Having to spend 10 mins decyphering your watch to tell the time, and then trying to explain to the few people who havent got bored and walked away that its actually really cool, but looking like a fool = Less Win.

If it takes you 10 minutes to read a binary watch, your doing it wrong.

but i do like the watches you linked, very nice
