something like that? never built a sff before so be gentle with me :)

just hope Fully Modular Design fanless psu fits tbh, ram should as board will take it, will double check video card etc, no OC heatsink fan chosen as gone for as silent as possible over raw power

80PLUS® Platinum Certified Super High Efficiency psu, - Fanless- 0dBA so only noise will be cpu fan and video fan, would have liked silent in both of them as well, wanted liquid cooling and also liquid for vga, but cost was over budget, so can't get totally silent, not that liquid is anyway

keep forgetting those black dragon chips aswell, and no comments on the fanless psu, still too new to use?

Thise dragons are nice and go with the colour scheme I had in mind. Black/white/grey..

The fanless psu is awesome. Just too expensive to use, in my eyes.

never like using brand new stuff either as no reviews or user feedback etc, but must admit a like the idea even though it's nothing new, been out for ages in other places and forms etc

cost is high for power output so agree with you on that as well, but Platinum mind you so will save money the more you use it, and pay for itself over time if you have it on a lot

To be fair seasonic are the granddaddy of the psu world, so picking one of them is always a god choice. I would love to have one of their supplies, just couldn't bring my self to empy my (and my missus) pocket for one. They are well worth the price though...

Thanks, that's a really nice looking build......under budget, so think it worth going 7970 and NZXT KRAKEN X60 or Corsair Hydro H100i to push it to just over a grand, or is that overkill?

7950 is as good tbh but the 7970 has got another gb of memory, and im told the H80 is as good as the H100i so it's choice and budget

and i'd go with Doomedspeed over mine as well, as like i said i've never done a sff before :) so wasn't 100% sure either

May be a bit idfficult to fit a big cooler in there, especially the h100i. Though you can if you mod it.

Even though the Rad would be bigger, as the case is so small, you won't be getting any more airflow to see the benifits of it. Would be a bit of a waste of money.

The 7970 has more overclocking headroom than the 7950 but i don't think it's worth the extra £60. You'd have to be playing over 2/3 screens to really notice the difference.

The 7970 doesn't have an extra GB of Memory.. Both are 3GB. uinless im mis-understanding what you're saying.

I have to agree, Doom's got a wicked little spec there!

Little indeed :)

I really like your build Doom i wander if you could answer me a question i have left over from my old system a i7-2600k could i use that in this system build instead of buying the i5one you listed i also have 8gb 2x 4gb sticks of corsair xms 3 1600mhz of ram so would also need another 8gb to make the 16 thankyou for your help it is very much appreciated

You can use your i7 no problem. 8GB ram is more than enough for gaming, unless you need 16GB for video editing or rendering, for example.

Loving doomedspeeds proposed spec. Personally I would ditch the internal DVD drive and get an external USB one for a few quid more, a cheap DVD drive would ruin the look of a compact case like a prodigy, plus it leaves the 5.25" bay free for other stuff further down the line, like a res or a fan controller, or an LED controller, or a hot-swap bay etcetera.

Yes you could use your i7-2600k with this motherboard.
The Mini-Itx motherboards only have 2 Ram Slots though, so if you wanted 16GB you would have to use 2 x 8GB sticks.
