As title really.

Just moved into a new flat and require a long ADSL cable to feed from the main socket filter to my router. Would prefer a store where I can go pick one up tomorrow.

Does quality matter here? Or is a cheap 5 quid one from the bay just as good as the brand names?

Cheers.

I used to use powerline adapters at my old place actually. Think I'm missing something here, at the moment my network is setup like this.

Master socket - micro filter - phone line into the filter (nothing in the adsl line) - router.

There is a weird thing on the phone line which splits it off into an ADSL cable type thing. I'll try get some pics to make more sense of it.

So here's how the socket looks:

So the white line coming out goes into some weird splitter, and comes out being an ADSL cable which goes into my router:

I do have two powerline adapters with me and two short ethernet cables.
