Yo

It's been a good while since I last upgraded, so been a bit out of the loop!

All I need is a mobo, cpu, gpu and ram. Got a 620w Corsair psu that's been brilliant.

Can give a bit of flex on the price, also is the price worth the upgrade? Currently running an IP35 pro, Q6600 o/c to 3ghz and sapphire 4890 1gb

Thanks in advance :)

no selling outside the mm and for that you need a lot more posts.

overclock the q6600 to 3-3.6ghz, only like a month or so till the new graphics cards are released so if you can hold off?

for cpu/mb/ram/cooler

cpu i2500k £168

mb gigabyte z68ap-d3 £85

cooler antec kuhler 620 £42

ram 8gb pc3-12800 1600mhz c9 g skill ripjawx £42

total = £337 befor delivery.

davefran I'd say 6870 over 6850 if op wants card now, will be slightly over budget tho

Whoops my bad! No problem.

I wont be getting it till after Christmas so I'll hold out for the gpu price changes.

Thanks guys much appreciated

the whole upgrade or just the graphics card? if you'r not buying the whole thing till after christmas the prices quoated now woldn't be relavent, so come back when you're ready to order.

oh and ivybridge cpu are due out like march/april so maybe worth holding off till than ;)

Haha yeah it will be just after a month until I will be upgrading, there is always the hold out a little longer when x comes along haha If the price is going down then its even more the better.

Thanks for your advice, I'll have those components saved and look at getting a 6870
