Spec me a 5.1/projector system

Hi all im in the market for a new 5.1 and projector setup for the new house im moving into,basically i have a budget of 2k-2.5k and it would be nice if they shipped all over Europe but not a necessity.

I want a a system for watching movies/tv mostly but some music too in a pretty large room about 7:5 meters.

I dont want a cheap all in one sound system so that is out of the question,this is for my dad who has been using a cheap phillips 5.1 which sounds ok but no where near the quality he is after.

I have a custom 2.1 setup in my room so i know what im looking for but i cant find any good sites and would love to see what you guys would recommend.

If your spending that much money I would recommend going to Avforums and asking on there, not that people on here don't know anything but there are many experts on there,

Thanks guys well screen wise i will be using a 100" roll down and that's not in the budget,i was looking at a epson projector they have herd good things about them anyone got any ideas on them?

The projector will be wall mounted at the rear of the room which is about 7m back from the wall where it will be projected onto,it will only be used at night for watching movies and playing the odd game im using a full hd 47" lcd for my main tv.

Can you give me a example of a good 1080p dlp projector?

ok so if im only going to use the projector at night would uding a non dlp projector be ok?
