Got mine running from a Denon X2700H everything(speakers, Blu-ray, Fire Cube) into the AVR and one cable to the TV using eARC. Works a treat.I'd try to avoid ARC/E-ARC if possible.
Then you don't have issues with a sound system.

All I can say is my Sony A80J TV and Denon X2700H work fine and pass everything without issue. As long as all devices support it and you're using a decent cable there's no reason not to use it. Makes for a very tidy set up with only one HDMI to the TV plus the power lead. The picture quality and sound is greatNot all TVs pass all codecs. Some don't pass DTS
Last time I used e-arc I was getting audio drop outs. Going direct solved it, and there is no benefit using e-arc

Sounds like you're getting into the realms of separates there. A "normal" home setup works ok with eARC but like all these things when you push things it might not work as well. When you have dozens of cables in a 9.2.4
Av pre power system cables aren't really an issue as you get used to them.
Haven't checked that don't if it supports everything
