Hi all.

Cousin of mine wants a new gaming PC, so can anyone throw me some builds?
As per the title, he has a budget of £800 max. Also needs a monitor thrown in, but it doesn't have to be top of the range. I'd say about 22" max.

I would also to throw in a nice CPU fan, for the extra cooling and perhaps a little overclocking. Last build I made for him, I used the stock cooler and I ended up having to replace it after the machine kept overheating.

Sorry forgot to mention, already have a windows license.

Thanks for the build, I'll pass it onto him. :)
Only worry is that I *think* he wants to buy and me build it, next month, semi Christmas present to himself since he's giving his old PC to his little brother. ;)
So just hope the bundle deal stays on.

The bundle deal will still be going.

But the SSD is today only, so when that ends it is the Crucial MX100 thats next inline.

I'd like to take the opportunity to ask for some advice too.

I've found this one to be a good value but am wondering if I could get something slightly better for around 750 including shipping.
Ideally I'd like to have i5/16gb/nvidia 970, there's no need for monitor, Windows system or hard drives as I have some spare hdd and ssd.
Could anyone advise please?
Btw, any chance for a black Friday sale this month?

Ill answer this, but you're more than welcome (advised) to make you're own thread..

Firstly, why 16GB.. Are you video/photo editing? If not, you have no need for it.

If you are happy to build yourself you could get something pretty good.

Before i spec though.. Do you need windows included in the price?

They normally do some select products for black firday.. the deals are lmited number but good prices..

Thanks for helping :)
I'd like to use this build for casual gaming for the next couple of years if possible. I used to buy laptops from Dell every a couple of years in the past but there's no way I could keep up with the latest games when it comes to system requirements.
My flatmate got a spare monitor, I have 2 SSD (128GB and 256GB) and 1 HDD 1.5TB. I can also borrow a windows 8.1 copy so no system needed.
I'm not sure 8GB would be enough for future gaming so I thought I'd go for 16GB if budget allowed.
I'd like to use 128GB SSD for system, 256GB SSD for game drive, 1.5TB for storage, therefore I dont even need hard drives for my build.
Do you think the ForceBox Gamer Plus would be workable for my plan? (I wish I could rid of HDD from the package though) Or I better off DIY? (I hope all cables would be included with all the parts).
Thanks.

Sorry, need to bump this, had a word with him and was hoping to order this, this weekend, sadly some items seem to have been discontinued.

The motherboard, CPU cooler and the case are coming up and product unavailable.

Bgrade card and inferior SSD.

DVD drive is missing and aftermarket cooler.

Nice case tho.

Got her built, but forgot to order a DVD drive :o.

Only problem I noticed was that twice when I turned it on, I got graphics corruption, but the corruption went away when I restarted the machine.
This was all before I installed windows etc. Hope it was just something to do with my HDMI lead and old TV.

Havn't seen it since.

Was a bit wierd, don't think it was heat based, because I had the machine running for a good few hours installing software and updates. Never saw a problem.
