I'm looking to put together a new PC for CAD, rendering, web, movies and the occasional game.

£800 - 1000, no monitor or extra needed.

This is my starting point, only thing that must stay is the case!

crisbduck: its an option, and i'm sure that sup up does rip through renders but I would rather stick with Intel (i5 or i7) if I can, but I would consider both.

Also does anyone know how much extra OcUK would charge to build this system for me?

I have emailed them this morning but no reply

This is what I've got in my basket and about to GO!

Thinking have the 2 1TB HDD in raid 1 so data is backed up.
Is this easy to set up?

Is it worth the extra for a 470 gfx card?

Could I get away with a 650W PSU?
Is that PSU quiet and free from disco lights?

I need a wireless network card too?

how much ram is there in that bundle? go at LEAST 6GB, really 8 or 12 to be totally comfortable. depends on your scene and asset complexity of course, and renderer choice, output size and format etc. etc.

I will mainly be using the PC for graphics and rendering which i assume a 460 will cover fine, is it good enough to have a play on some of the latest games if I fancied too?

There is 6GB of Corsair XMS3 in the bundle which will do for now.
