Powerful, petrol, fairly 'quiet' when not being ragged out, comfortable, BMW and budget of about 28k. Finally sorted my 330D pay out after it was totalled whilst parked and will need a car again in about 4 months time as currently i'm only about 2 miles from work, when my flat is done being renovated i'll be about 17 miles away.. Good handling is a must but i'm not out trackdaying etc.. so nothing too bizarre :) Oh yea, saloon, 3 or 5, loved my old 05 525D SE but not driven anything later.

Difficult budget.

Buy a 528i SE or consider a 328i, though its just out of budget.

Make sure whatever you buy is current gen or its just throwing money away, if you fancy something thats an older generation save a fortune and buy the same car for £15k less a few years older.

I don't even look in your budget let alone shop, Can you get one of these for that money as they are gorgeous.

What is it? :p Guessing some variant of a Z4? Unfortunately i need to be practical and boot and rear passenger space is a big must.
 
Just found one googling an 09 & it had 8k's worth of extras & sold for £23.250 so you're bang on. :cool:
 
Thanks fox! , well aware of depreciation, been there done that etc :) The 5 looks nice, haven't seen much 3's but find the new model looks rather odd tbh.. think i'll test drive the 5 series soon.
 
You might need to be patient as its only recently they've begun popping up at that money and the petrol ones are exceptionally rare anyway.
 
Comedy-rare. That one I've found is probably the only one you'll see for months as they only registered about 60 N53 engined manual 28i's. :p
 
lol i guess it'll be an adventure tracking one down when the time comes :D I think the smell and sound of petrol is finally back in my veins after 5yrs of derv.
