spec me a card plz

right 3 months ago i got a gigabyte gtx 480 soc. that pasted away . over heated . think this has happend to a lot of people. ocuk have stopped selling them now . mine got sent of to get looked at . and they sent me a standard gtx 480 back . ocuk have said i can take the standard one or have full refund. the prob is i got the gtx 480 soc for its speeds. it cost me £240 . so do take the money and put some more with it to get a card just as good i can maybe add £150 / £200 if card is realy good

well i will be getting £240 back for old card and ive got £100/£200 to put with it . play @ 1080 by 1920
am playing crysis 2 'dead space 2' gta' operation flashpoint

Get a 6950, 570, 580 or wait for next gen

If you want to spend all your budget, I'd get a 580.

I see they go as cheap as £335.

A more economical choice would be a 6950 or a 570.

Alternativley you could get two 6950's for £400.

2 x 6950 if your mobo supports xfire

if not a GTX 570 with a nice clock is stock 580 territory.

I have been playing metro with my GTX 570 and its was quicker in game than the 6950

You dont need to spend 350 for 1080p res a clocked 570 is fine for your needs. Then maybe get another for a 580 killer
