Spec me a cheap watch (With a date box)

Hey,
Couldn't see a specific section for wearables so thought GD would be the next best thing.

Looking for a cheap and cheerful watch that has a Date box on the dial, Budget around £40,Its purely for wearing at work so will get scratched/dinged.

I know i could just get a cheap 16.99 watch or something BUT ideally i want something that's going to last more than 6 months lol...not really wanting to go a smart watch either (had one previously and got fed up with having to keep charging)

Wondering what/if any of you guys have any recomendations.

we dont have talking boxes. we have spinny clock bois, with date boxes and we like it thankyouverymuch.

I never use my phone for the date. Far easier for me to look at my wrist rather than pulling the phone out of my pocket.
The phone also tells the time, so why not scrap the watch all together?

Another recommendation for Casio. The exact model doesn't matter so much - find one you like that ticks all the boxes. Their reputation for reliability is well deserved.

I was going to suggest Tudor peg 39 for a daily beater, but then saw the £40 budget.

Just grab a Casio, there’s a few now that has casing like a g-shock.

I got a load on Casio f91w in different colours just to wear when the Apple Watch isn’t glued to my arm.
