Spec me a Chinese Takeaway Meal

Kung Po Chicken

its chicken balls in batter, in a sweet chili sauce. and cashew nuts but this might just be how they serve it where I get it from.

Shreadded chilli beef with noodles is the biz, however a good old King Prawn curry with fried rice and/or chips is equally as satisfying.
This has got my tummy rumbling.........will have a Chinese myself tonight.....or maybe an Indian, then a few beers over at the local...aaaaaahhhh happy days Lol.

Mongolian Chicken / Beef, it's a spicy sweet kinda dish but delicious. I tend to have it with boiled rice but goes just as great with fried or chips if that takes your fancy.

I have chicken kung po with boiled rice tonight. It was meh.

boiled rice is for women and men who like other men, the whole point of a takeaway is it's not supposed to be healthy, i don't understand people who order one and think boiled rice is going to suddenly make it all healthy, all it does is make it taste like crap.

go with fried rice or nothing.

LOL it's not about being healthy and how can something that tastes of nothing make it 'taste like crap'?

Mongalian Roast pork. No idea what's in it. Some sort of heavy gorgeous black sauce. I'm thinking hoisin based but no idea. Only seen one takeaway do it so far. But omg it's seriously good.

Mongolian chicken is pretty much all I order from our local takeaway and has been for ages now, glad someone else has discovered it albeit in roast pork (does sound good that!) form :) I find like most dishes a lot depends on the cook as to how spicey it can be, but delicious regardless.

"Chicken balls"
"Pork balls"

I never understood this. On occasion I'd get asked for them, but on informing the customer that meat does not come in "ball" form, they look awfully disappointed :). Is it the novelty factor aimed at children?

Not sure if serious

Thinking I'm going to get Peking style ribs and chicken fried rice. To finish of a drunk weekend.
