Spec me a computar

Hey,

I wanna ditch my laptop, and get a PC again but Im wondering if to buy a cheap pre-built or build one myself?

I need help, and if I need a spec, my budgets around £300 (i've still got a 22" monitor, so I just need the base really)

Not looking for high-end, maybe play WoW, Counter-Strike etc

I would definitely build myself. You get a lot more for your money.

Do you need an OS and how much storage would you like?

Ok maybe not cheaper, but for £8.52 more you can get a 1TB HD.

Well he ain't said how much he wanted but if he is using it for games then I'm sure he will want a lot.

It's only £8.52 more so might as well not like you can have to much storage.

There is no answer to give, more money just gets faster and faster bits.

Something you could do to Reapers build is spend an extra £15 to get a AM3+ motherboard so its compatible with the Bulldozers CPU's when ever they are released.

About August was the last I saw mentioned for the CPU's, price? well theres a few different speed and number of cores, competitive to Intels range of i5/i7 was also mentioned on tech sites.
