This seems to be the place to get some help in figuring out what parts i should get for my pc. Budget is around 700 only needing motherboard/cpu/gpu/ram. Mainly used for gaming.

Was considering going for a Phenom II. Look like nice CPU's

Not sure about the ATI cards though, ive always been ATI and i hate their drivers, was wanting to try nvidia.
 
you can get a GTX260 216 core they are about the same price there about, but rember the HD4850 =9800gtx++ there about depending a lot of things, and the HD4870=gtx260 there about.

I on purpose got the toxic becasue it has a better cooler and its cheap but it has a bad attitude in a good way:D

Yeah it originally read as 600 but just found out i might be able to stretch to 700 :)

Looking at maybe at getting an i7 system and take a step down from graphics to compensate and just upgrade in a few months.
 
if you go with AMD/ATI GPU on the X58 you don't have to get the same card for crossfire, goes for any modern corssfire platform these days ^^

or you can get a nice GTX260 and buy another one in say a few months so you can go SLI...that is up to you through
