Spec me a Coupe!

I think it is the random lines across the side of the car that ruin its looks. Had it been smooth, it would have been inoffensive and pleasant to the eye. As it is (IMO), the design is a mess.

Its not a hugely ugly car, just its not quite "right".

Yeah, it's a fair point. I think sometimes its just the angle you look at it from, sometimes i'll be walking to the car and think it's hideous, other times i'll walk towards it and think it looks gorgeous. Of course a truly good looking car would look good from all angles :o

Why not get a quote for a 1.6 Puma?

because I can't find a single one for sale anywhere, and it'd probably still be higher as it's 3 years newer than the coupe's I've been looking at :(

Since when did difference in age of cars that are already a large number of years old make a significant difference

The Puma 1.6 is a very cheap car to insure from what I could gather from quotes (be they a few years ago now).

stop.

do not buy a 1.6 hyundai coupe. Why on earth would you want to buy a poverty spec coupe. If you wanting to keep costs down, get a 1.6 (same engine as a zetec s fiesta) puma

What do you mean though, like big arches small wheels? (only 16" btw) or small arches small wheels?

look at the size of the bodywork above the rear arch and below the rear quater window, in my mind the wheels and arches are too small for the car

thats my beef with the looks

obviously each to his own

I can see on that picture, just not on mine. Those are the standard 15" alloys, which by all accounts are too small. At least now they come with 16" and 17" wheels.

if the car was built upto those lines then it would be better, those lines make it look like it was grabbed while the metal was setting and stretched a bit.
