Infact if I ever had to get a cheap car, it would be one of those, or a convertible one.

In my opinion, the Ford Puma is quite a nice overall package, and im really happy with mine.
Several friends have hyundai coupes (one a normal, the other the evo) and both seem ok cars, but both of them have also commented on the skittish handling of them.
the 406 coupe looks gorgeous, and with a few other bits and bobs is great, however its still a 406 at heart, and as such the handling wont be as nimble as somthing like a puma.
personally if I could spend my money again id get either a Racing Puma or a DC2 Integra R.... but thats just me...

Btw, don't buy a 1.6 Coupe. MPG and general running costs are the same as the 2 litre. Just stump up some more on the insurance front.
Cyanide said:What kind of a difference does the 2l make?
Cyanide said:True, but on the financial side of things the Puma would wipe me out on the insurance, and they're a similar spec on paper... it looks gorgeous, I find them comfy cars with a good driving position, I just need to take one a spin for a final test
