Spec me a.......couscous based meal

Look up Bobotie recipes online :)

Basically mince & onions fried up, then sultanas, curry spices and mango chutney, mixed with mushed-up bread and packed down into an oven dish. THEN on top you pour a spiced egg/milk mix and shove it in the oven.

LOVELY. Serve with couscous. Yum.
 

I don't cook it like that, I use plenty of olive oil and fry the lamb add peas, spring onion, oregano, keep adding oil (I'm sure I've forgot something).
Stick it in a casserole dish, pour over a tin of chopped tomatos, springle parmesan cheese on top. Lid on in oven for one hour.
Serve with couscous and feta cheese sald.

It won't be the proper way but it's quick and tasty.
 
Does anyone know of a nice dish which uses couscous and chicken?

Take the chicken, remove the guts and stuff it. Place on a baking tray in the oven. While the chicken is roasting remove the packaging from the cous cous. Holding the cous cous container in your left hand open the cupboard under the sink with your right hand. Once the cupboard is open use a spoon to move the cous cous from the packaging into the bin. Once the container is empty recycle in whichever way your local council wants, if necessary place the container in the bin. Wait on the chicken roasting and then serve.
 
For couscous itself I just tend to use the juice of a lemon and lime to add a bit of flavour to it and serve with stroganof or somesuch.
