Spec me a cpu cooler..

for i5 2500k.

Was thinking about getting a water cooling kit like the corsair h80 (im not confident in putting together a water cooling system myself)... or if anyone knows of a air cooler thatll do a decent job with low temps.

Though they are both out of stock the best equivilant i can think of to the H80 is the Noctua NH-D14. Its a simular price and everyone, in every forum i've visited, raves about it.

You will need to make sure your case has enough space for either though, what is your case?

if it will fit in your case and above your RAM, hen the thermalright silver arrow is the most obvious answer. its wont keep things quite as chilly as the H80, but if you take noise into account they're about equal (which isnt bad considering the silver arrow is ~£25 cheaper)

i wouldnt bother with the noctua NH-D14 because this performs almost exactly the same as the silver arrow (we're talking less than 1C difference), but is £25 more expensive

in that case the silver arrow should fit, because its ~163mm tall, and your case can take coolers ~165mm tall. however, some people have reported that their silver arrow was 167mm tall so it might be a tight fit

Water coolers are a good way to keep the inside of the case free from a huge chunky piece of meteal and gives a very nice minamilist look,
