Spec me a decent pocket camera

If you go for the S95 and don't mind importing I would use OneStop Digital, £299 and they'll cover any fees you might incur.

If you dont want to spend that much check out the ixus 100 which you can currently get for £110. Has a viewfinder too!

I hope you haven't bought yet edgedemon, because it seems there's been a price drop on Amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Canon-Power...OK52/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1286996960&sr=8-1

Now £297.79, cheaper than OneStop-Digital. Pretty sure I looked on there yesterday and it was the same (£339 on Amazon I think it was?) so must have gone down today.

I'm thinking of buying right now in case it goes back up. Reckon it will?

I bought my S95 on the 15th of september online, but it was a shop in central london. Paid £350 back then! But Amazon didn't have it in stock and all other places was £399!

I wish I could have waited, but needed one for my America trip.

The camera itself is very good but I'm another canon fanboy really. Got some great shots from our holiday.

Bought off Amazon along with an 8GB class 6 SDHC card. Should be arriving 20 October. Thanks to edge for the thread and everyone else for giving their advice :).

Camera and card have arrived now so let me know if you have any specific questions edgedemon.

Managed to pick up a Canon Camera "Sock" from my local camera shop for £3.99 too, designed for the Ixus range but fits a treat and considering it'll be in the same pocket as my keys definitely worth it :).
