I've got this one but in black and it's perfect.

yeah ice, hey to u too :)

n neo, whats it like for space etc??

I have a printer, a 19" TFT, a G15 keyboard (I did until I spilled wine all over it:D), mousemat & mouse, router, cd tower, stationery etc on it and still got plenty of room. I'll take a photo for you when I get home.

I have a couple of these in my office, (see post #252 in the Case Central forums' Desk and Room Gallery). They are fine although the white board can interfere with a full tower case fitting fully back under it, (hence my Stacker being a bit forward in the last picture). They are nice and simple to put together and are sturdy. I would echo a comment made above though that they are quite high so you may want to try sitting at it and other desks at an Ikea store before making a final decision.

instead of the mikael desk, you should get a galant.

its much, much more solid!

you can get a 120x60 (which ever colour, white is cheaper), frame and 2 t-legs for £100.

it will be a bit less for white. or you can choose a legs instead and it will be £28 for legs instead of £50

other sizes are 80x60, 120x80 and 160x80.

best one is the 120 x 60

Lol, thanks G|mp that looks good also. Like the black glass, nice and deep, looks like we have another contender (if I can force myself through the doors). How are you finding it? Any problems etc?

the_one_deep86 - that looks good but the skew-wiff legs make it look like a new born foal :p Will carry on looking and review whatever I end up with.

No probs at all very sturdy and easy to put together (Miss G|mp did it) ;)

my vote goes on the ikea "big slab o wood with cylindrical metal legs" its totally solid (had 2 crts and 2 grown people on it without any flex) its a good hight imho, and lots of easy access underneath - no struggling to get to the c-mos reset jumper!

sadly it has no style, but hay...

if i had the chance to get an ikea desk it would be galant. only decent desk worth getting (i hate ikea furniture aswell, which is odd as i work there)

I love the Mikael but if you get one for your own sake get the glass top otherwise any spilt water will make the wood expand and any knocks will dent the desk!

You mean the galant? It's the only ikea one I could find with cylindrical legs apart from the build your own? At the moment I'm wavering towards the Jonas without the cupboard bit but will keep looking. Opinions from users still very welcome!
