Spec me a desk

I'm looking for a good desk.

Needs to hold:
Xbox360
24" monitor
Subwoofer
17" to 18" laptop

No more than about £200

thanks.
 
Might get a better reply in the case forum, the top sticky there is "desk & room gallery" worth a look for some idea's then theres always ikea :)

Go to Ikea

4 x adjustable grey metal legs - approx 6 quid each

1x 2m or 1.5 metre long x 600 mm table top (birch effect) 20 - 30 quid

found in warehouse section NOT in brochure or online

houses my 24 in monitor and system no problem
 
I had a desk like the top one bought it around 7 years ago from Staples
It was 1600mm x 800mm cost around £130 then.
Staples sale office furniture so they are strong made to last.
800mm is nice & deep you have so much room at the back.
Missus uses it now, I had to cut it down to 1200mm even doing that has not even weaken it.
I am now sitting at my £15 desk from Argos ummm something went wrong there :)
Best if you can go to one of there stores to look yourself.

Thanks all. I've looked on a few shop websites but I can't seem to find any like that 2nd picture.

I rely like the 2nd one the most. So I want to try and get one like or that.

You'll want to get rid of that link seeing as they're a competitor last time I checked...
 
Get yourself down to Ikea mate, have a look in the Bargain Corner.
I managed to get an ex-display desk RRP£110 - £23.

Bargain.
Superficial damage to the rear of the desk, doesn't affect me though :)

I've had a look on there website, but I can't seem to find any like the 2nd picture.

I'll keep looking thouah.
 
The Ikea Mikael or Jonas to be honest, these are probably the two most popular desks amongst OcUK people :D
