My granther is 66 and i have bought him the following:
Laurel And Hardy Box Set
Dad's Army
Steptoe And Son
Most of the John Wayne films
I need some other recommendations, he likes comedys and westerns so spec away
66 isn't so old! my dad is that age and loves the sopranos, the wire, the west wing stuff like that

My Dad's 62 (might be 63) and he's recently finished watching Life On Mars and Ashes to Ashes and loved them both and he's about to start watching Band of Brothers. Old people like new programs just as much as young people like some old programs.

Haha, my mate became a granddad at 34. Courtesy of the very early age (both 12/13yr old), scandal of the school birth of his son, who went on to father a son at age 21.

When I reached 50 I suddenly lost all my interest in modern series and went back to old stuff like Dad's Army and Please Sir - FACT.
I'm being forced to watch Lost and being old it is awful - FACT.
Old people don't like anything new - FACT.
