spec me a fast HDD please

currently got a 160GB HDD with only 39GB free,looking for a fairly priced also V quick.

I use a Spinpoint F1 500GB in mine, and it's a very quick drive.

It's not as fast as my 150GB Raptor, but the £/GB is a lot less harsh on the pocket.

Spinpoint F1 of some description gets my vote as well. Fastest thing other than raptors (noisy, small and overpriced) and velociraptors (very expensive)

would you put them in raid 0 or are they too big for that ? if so what is the best size hd for raid 0 ( and is it the fastest way or get the new 300 gb raptor)

I have a 150 gig raptor as my boot drive.

I never have my data on my boot drive.

I use a seperate drive for storage.

I do same as easyrider. But am thinking of ditching the 150gb Raptor and maybe getting WD6400aaks for the extra storage and a quieter life
