I owuld'nt go ANYWHERE near the new RF, everyone whined CM couldn't run the game, CCR have taken over and wtf tbh, it's just like a private server. I was in the beta and returned for the second beta to be told it was now live.

seems like a bad move to me, rates are questionable, Cash shop items have become more of a gamble than they ever were, first lvl 47 in a day and apparantly someone made +7boots the next day.

I've seen private servers run RF better than CCR and not charge real cash for it

The character restoration was to a specific server, away from all the new characters but from what I hear everyone is playing new chars anyway.

I was really looking forwards to the rerelease of RF we were gonna hit it hard again, but not playing it the way CCR are currently running it.
If you want to play an MMO or if you want to buy your way thru a game is the question

All the more reason for me to not bother with this game anymore. I mean it has a wonderful theme (Almost Phantasy Star Online-ish) and such great potential, just a shame it wasn't done so well.

I played the game from the start when it was released here, so it was good old Spirit, and then of course Novus server.

Was going to mention this aswell, Its been going about 8 years, graphics are a bit dated, But it is a good game, still patches/boosters coming out, and still has a good community

If you mean the lifetime subscription for LOTRO, you have to let your current sub expire, then go to your account page and select the one-time payment option.

Do you think it would be worth it? Sounds like a good solution to paying each month and worrying about getting your monies worth if you dont put the time into it.

KAL online is pretty amazing

Yeah I used to think this until I got to Lvl >20. Then it got goddamn awful due to the poor leveling system. Takes WAY too long to get to the next level and the regular intervals of lag didn't help either. Because of this, I regularly lost days worth of exp and got fed up with it.

Atlantica Online is well worth trying if you want a turn based twist to your usual MMO.

rf isnt a lvl / gear game its all about the pvp still playing it here and lvl50 atm
