Spec me a gaming build

Spec me a gaming PC for about £800 total. Looking at the following as a guide:
  • Asus motherboard
  • i5 3570K
  • 16GB DDR3
  • GTX 680
  • 250GB SSD
  • 1TB HD
  • Blu-ray reader / DVD writer combo drive.
  • Case

The above spec you posted will cost a lot more than £800. Rough guide to what you can get, but wait for Haswell, it will be out soon and replace the Ivybridge series.

Worst "Spec me a £1000 PC for £800 thread ever".. :)

Reapers spec is good, though id wait til haswell which is just around the corner.. Though it probably will cost more. So if you're not worried about haswell grab ivy now, as prices won't drop much if atall.
