Hey guys, this is my first time posting on these forums. I've bought pre-Built systems from OC's before but I really want to build my own computer, I've never done it and it's something I've always wanted to do.

My budget is £700 and I also need to buy a copy of windows 7 so if you could factor that into the price I would be grateful.

The rig would mainly be for gaming.

Thanks. :)

*edit*
had a major look over the build i posted originally to see where i could save money. the 560Ti uses a lot less power than i thought it did, so i could get a smaller PSU without any problems

Thanks for the spec, would I be be able to OC the CPU with that setup?

you certainly would. you should see at least a 4.6Ghz OC.

the RAM being a lower speed shouldnt be an issue because sandybridge overclocking is purely multiplier based and doesnt affect the ram (however, i'm very happy to be proved wrong here)

there is very little difference between 1333Mhz RAM and 1600Mhz ram these days, except on the Llano processors onboard graphics. my ram is suppost to be 1600Mhz, but its been at 1333Mhz for ages because i CBA to change it :p

if you like it, i dont see why not.
hey reaper, i see you have specced a SLI motherboard with a 530w PSU, i think it's pointless to have a SLI/CF mobo when you have to buy a new PSU when you decide to get a second GPU.
so, either dump the mobo for the C45 version or up the PSU

Yea...it would make more sense to drop the motherboard board to lower since the PSU ain't gonna be able to cope with GTX560TI SLI in the future, and use the money saved and get the MSI 6950 TwinFrozRIII 2GB instead:
