Hi guys,

I am looking to build a good/fast everyday computer for things like eBay, watching youtube, e-mails, excel, word processing etc. No games will be played on this computer.

Looking to spend around £300 and I already have a monitor, keyboard and mouse so no need to worry about them.

Thanks

Sounds good, but what about maybe incorporating an intel cpu such as Intel Pentium K Anniversary G3258??

Or would this not be much improvement over the AMD?

Personally I'd probably look at a AMD A6-5400K as a CPU

Edit: None of your uses are demanding so anything should be fine, provided it has onboard graphics. The reason I'd go for the above over the pentium is superior onboard graphics performance, though it's weaker in CPU stakes. Honestly it makes little difference though either way - unless you're running some odd resolution or something I can't see either struggling.

I know the AMD's are good value at this budget but I have a thing about Intel. I just feel that they are more reliable...

Anyway, what do you think of this?

CPU - Intel Pentium G3258 3.2GHz Dual-Core Processor
MB - ASRock H81M-ITX Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard
Ram - TeamGroup Elite Black 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (TPKD38G1600HC11DC01)
SSD - Crucial M500 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Case - Cooler Master Elite 130 Mini ITX Tower Case
PSU - Corsair CX 430W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
OD - Samsung SH-224DB/RSBS DVD/CD Writer
Wifi Adapter - TP-Link TL-WN881ND 802.11b/g/n PCI-Express x1 Wi-Fi Adapter

I do like the look of the cpu/mobo combo but apparently after a little research it does not support the front panel USB 3.0 which is a bit annoying.

I have been thinking about the case and ideally it need to be quite small hence the mini ITX.

Can you suggest any other mobo's? Any that support front USB 3.0?
