Spec me a good Sci Fi Series...

I Gave them a chance and my brain melted I think I lost a lot of IQ points through Boredom
What?

No, wait... what?

But... but... but.... what?

I want to understand, but I just can't. BSG is one of the best TV series ever made, let alone of sci-fis.

Bored? Bored?? What?

Another vote for Day Break, very under rated series. UFO is cool as is Space 1999 if you can put up with old fashioned story lines and a lack of detail. I am enjoying Stargate Atlantis, but you need to see the whole series really. Kyle XY is more for kids, but still enjoyable in an odd way, bit like the Waltons. I am not impressed with the Terminator TV series.

You hate Firefly and BSG??

Theres no hope here...

theres the odd pants episodes of BSG, annoys me when im craving a new one every week..
Firefly, well i just thought firefly was crap really, it could have been a lot better but it was just a bit too cheesy etc and a bit amateurish.

dont know if this has been mentioned but Lexx was allways a laugh for me, thought it was corny and a bit carp when i first started watching it but once i got into it i couldnt leave it alone.
Used to sit up and watch it at about 2 in the morning whenever it was on but they messed with the times and then stop showing it alltogether. if ya like red dwarf give it a try you may be surprised.

Firefly I saw it I hated the story the characters (especially the captain dude mainly because they looked at starwars and thought hmm no lets not make ourselves a new character lets steal Han Solo) the action it was all just terrible. Just worse than Buffy the Vampire Slayer which is also terrible.

I did give BSG a chance but I just zoned out.

Did you watch the mini-series pilot of BSG, or the start of the first series? Personally, I think the mini-series is a much better, more interesting intro to it.

Angel and Buffy was great (buffy upto S4, Angel only thought upto S2 was good). Perhaps stick to "Little House on the Prairie?"

How about a good book? I just finished The Reality Dysfunction by Peter F Hamilton. A British Sci Fi writer who constructs a very believable universe. Very enjoyable. I am now on his next book.

Reddit also red every starwars books set from the han solo triliogy onwards the books set b4 that are based on the Old republic and are **** just like Star Wars eps I-III I also read a hell of a lot of Sci-Fi & Fantasy(no not that kind of fantasy) novels as well as good Fiction Like Tom Clancy and Clive Cussler

DNA no but will get to it

Hitchhikers Guide 6 times plus listened to the radio broadcast, watched the TV series and seen the film(sadly)

Dirk Gently I've been reccomended this book but am not gonna read it till I've finished re-reading (and reading the newest book when I get it) the Obernewtyn Chronicles By Isobelle Carmody.
