Trim the hair till its about 2-3 inches, so this way you can spike it and mess it around with a bit of wax.
Your hair is a weird colour for that sort of style that you have. So perhaps even make it be more of a style like perhaps shave back/sides to a 3-4. Or trim, upto you and have top longer for spiking/anything.

need to ask what age are you?
you actually look quite young (but absolutely horribly hairy) and therefore the beard is a phase everyone goes through.
im 21 i grew out of the beards phase when i was 19
as to your original question their aint nothing you can do to your hair with a beard like that in my honest opinion you need to start shaving, all of it off not trimming or the such. your beard is still very pube like and it is not a proper beard. your hair actually looks fine you just need to know how to use gel. if you dont know how to use gel just bleach your hair or get it highlighted that means no matter what you do with the gel it will look fashionable.
im sorry if this aint what you wanna hear but i wanted to be honest as possible and i assure you its for the best.
so to sum it up
1. shave beard off and keep short sideys
2. add some colour, whether it be bleaching or highlights.
3. use gel or some other product, i find putty's and clays too strong, maybe a cream?
4. length of hair seems okay maybe a slight trim to keep it tidy
5. pluck those awful hairs in between your brows

thisself using a kit from boots and that white sticky cream by v05 the one voted by fhm it truly works wonders for styling im not g

TBH Im not vane enough to worry about the eyebrows, I dont mind the Bert from Seaseme street look, I have always had it, and its not very noticable unless your up close, like the camera is.
I Have only had the beard since christmas, the reason I have grown it is because when shaving my face gets far to sore, it bleeds, not matter how gentle I am and looks awfull and sore all the time, so its better to just have a beard and trim it, I have tried different creams etc but they dont help enough sadly.
Does bleaching/heighlighting not damage the hair? How long does it last?
Im 19(20 in May) How old would you say I look?
Also your hair is mad(in a good way) must take ages to actualy get it looking like that!

bleaching does damage hair but come on its dead anyway, hair is only alive inside of your head, i think so anyway im not a hair folicle expert, bleaching lasts forever, until you cut it basically, get your sister or your mum or an auntie to do it, you can get a pack for less than a tenner from boots, but i would go to a salon first, go to a salon talk to the lady when she sits you down, explain what you want from your haircut and you want something daring and totally different, after doing all of this you will be treated like a king for the next 2-3 hours, yeah thats how long my haircuts normally take and they cost from nothing up to £150, but a simple haircut for you in a salon with highlights on the tips should cost £30 - £40
i cannot express this highly enough get rid of that beard, the brows is up to you but i would pluck them

definetely go to a salon and not a barbers when you spend that £30-£40 you may feel it was expensive but worth it, but next time just go home and after a month get a pack from boots and like i said get a family member to do it for you and if you tell them how to do it properly like when in the salon you should be able to do all aorts of new stuff
