My Turtle Beach X11 just snapped, it's going to be tricky to fix it too. So I need a new headset for my PC gaming and communications as soon as possible. I've been looking at the Corsair HS1(A) and the Logitech G35 but I'm a complete noob when it comes to audio.
Requirements:
1. Comfortable for 12+ hour days.
2. Microphone playback like the X11.
3. Big ear cups.
4. Good sound quality.
Budget: £130
I'm running on an ASUS Crosshair IV Forumla which uses the built in SupremeFX X-Fi 8 Channel HD Audio card.
I really like the look of the Corsair HS1(A) but I'm not sure how I'd cope if it doesn't have the microphone playback that all users of the X11 will recognise. The X11 basically plays back whatever the microphone picks up, so you can hear yourself speak clearly.
